The Pump Room, The Grand Pavilion, Matlock Bath, UK

After my visit and reading about Matlock Bath I was intrigued by expressions like “Derbyshire-on-the-Sea” and “land locked seaside resort”. It talked about boats: “They are close to the landing stage behind the Grand Pavilion and people may have hired their boats from there.” This work is related to boats and consequently to water and this image of Matlock Bath as a “land locked seaside resort”.
